Bears prepare for Eagles

Wentz enters his first NFL road game

It looked like old times as the Chicago Bears got off to a rough start last week against the Houston Texans who forced five sacks on quarterback Jay Cutler in the 23-14 loss.

bears-4Cutler finished the game 16-29 for 216 yards, a touchdown and an interception while his rookie counterpart finished 22 -35 for 231 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

The Bears must now get ready to face Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles but Bears rookie Deiondre Hall may have inside information about how to try and stop Wentz, who threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns in a 29-10 over the Browns last weekend. Hall played against Wentz while at Northern Iowa.

“Dude has a cannon,” Hall said.  “He has a cannon for an arm. And he was always a really smart quarterback. He reads defenses very well from my experiences against him. Plus, he’s not afraid to run if he gets in trouble.”

” He was making NFL-type passes in college, throwing from the far hash to the opposite sideline on a comebacker. And he’s got enough zip on it by far. It’s crazy.”

It all goes down Monday night and you still have the opportunity to be there so grab your tickets and help cheer on your Chicago Bears over the Philadelphia Eagles!

Bears face Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys will come calling on the Chicago Bears Thursday night and for both teams, playoff spots are on the line.  If the playoffs were to start today, neither the Cowboys nor the Bears would be in.

The Bears defense will be coming after Tony Romo, who was less than stellar in the Cowboys loss to the Eagles last week.

Marshall inks 3-year extension

Receiver Brandon Marshall is crediting the trade that sent him to Chicago as a “career and life saving event,” and he discussed the move and his recent extension keeping him in a Bears uniform through 2017.

“I don’t think I’d be sitting in this position talking about an extension [if not for the trade to Chicago],” Marshall said. “I probably wouldn’t even be having the success that I was having on the field in that environment [in Miami]. It wasn’t right for me.”

The Bears kick off preseason against the Philadelphia Eagles on August 8th.  There are plenty of great seats and cheap tickets. Be sure to get yours now!
