Bears lose close game to Broncos

In the end, a loss is a loss, but the 17-15 loss to the Denver Broncos this weekend showed that they have the defense to be able to hold down a powerful team such as the Broncos, but the offense and play calling need much improvement.

With a fourth and goal on  the four yard line, the Bears coaching staff decided to go for it and ended up turning it over in the end zone and the Broncos ended up winning by two points.

“I think we hadn’t made many trips down there, and when we had, we hadn’t scored touchdowns,” Head Coach John Fox said in post game comments.  ” It had been kind of a field-goal game. At that point in the game, we felt that was going to be maybe our last opportunity so we were aggressive and came up short on fourth-and-four”

The Bears have little time to reflect on their decision as they have a quick turnaround and play again this Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, against the Green Bay Packers (7-3) at Lambeau Field.

The next home game is scheduled for December 9th against the San Francisco 49ers.  Get your tickets to the game and be a part of the action!  Plenty of great seats are still available!

Bears drop another AFC game

The Bears came into Foxborough knowing  that a tough road to victory lay ahead of them.  They were well prepared but were not prepared for Tom Brady at his very best.  Some are saying it  was the best performance of his storied career.  Brady went 30-35 for 354 yards and five touchdowns.

“I love coaching Tom. I’ve been fortunate to have him the whole career since he’s been here,” Patriots coach Bill Belichick said. “He does a great job of executing the team game plan.

As for Marc Trestman, his future as the Head Coach of the Bears remains to be seen.  The Bears have now dropped two in a row and four out of their last five games. But it was the Patriots ability to score three touchdowns in less than one minute in the second quarter that may have opened that door, beginning  the “chemistry” problem conversation the Bears are evidently going through in the process.

The Bears go into the bye week with many questions to be answered and things will certainly not be easier when they return to action, on the road visiting Green Bay.  Plenty of great seats and cheap tickets are still available!  Get yours now!
