Bears O-Line solidfying into a starting squad

The Chicago Bears offensive line has pretty much been sorted out in this early part of the off season.  With the signing of veteran Jermon Bushrod to take over the LT position, the Bears have 35 million reasons to believe he is the answer.

Starting at LG position is Matt Slauson who started 48 of 51 games with the New York Jets.  Roberto Garza returns as the starting center while Rookie RG Kyle Long is slotted to begin the season with the first team. J;Marcus Webb, who lost his starting LT position to Bushrod will take over the RT position.

Bears look to continue winning streak against hapless Jaguars

After thoroughly thrashing the Dallas Cowboys in the mecca that is Dallas Cowboys Stadium, the Chicago Bears are not willing to rest on their laurels when they meet the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

The Bears defense are coming into this game ranked 5th in points allowed, 2nd in sack percentage and 4th in interception percentage.  Credit longtime LB’s Lance Briggs and Brian Urlacher lead the team with 21 tackles each, but they themselves credit the overall team defense.

Bears loaded with talent; wait for Forte to appear

Brian Urlacher likes what he has seen in this off season and now that the season is fast approaching, he likes the Bears’ chances this year.   In speaking with Waddle and Silvy on ESPN 1000 Urlacher told the duo:

“The talent we have on this team is phenomenal.”
